其实哥特金属并不是你想的那呀~不是单纯以能以Nightwish作为哥特的范本，认为哥特就是内要女的唱才好听~由于女容的声音（特别是用美声唱法）比较飘逸，很能给人种神圣感觉，所以以女的为主唱在哥特界还蛮受欢迎的。再加上旋律的优美性，更能给歌曲增色~比如Nightwish这种，我更觉得他们比较倾向于交响乐金属和歌剧金属~但真正的哥特并不是这样，哥特所表现的是一种当时80年代人们的生活态度，给人一种阴暗压抑，有种从迫切想从黑暗中看到光明的感觉~并不是那么的飘逸灵动~比如Moonspell这种，沉重的让人不寒而栗~真正的哥特绝不是用水喉唱的~
了解哥特还可以去多读读历史，看看当时人们的生活环境还有哥特式建筑特色，这些跟哥特音乐都是有直接关系的~
